There is no performance impact onto installed websites, as it does no Client Facing events. The process is entirely Server Side.

There is a link provided in the notification area. Once subscription is confirmed, the process is handled on our infrastructure and no other work is required. Prior to subscriptions, we provide a free trial of downloads for you to determine if this is something you'd find useful in subscribing to.
What is the primary target for tracking—is it AI bots, or human users referred from AI sources?
The primary targets for tracking are A.I. generated actions. So simply, both AI Bots and Human Users referred from AI sources. We do have plans to split the downloadable data to help identify which is which in the future.
